Q : Should i download 4.3 if i have no problems with 4.2? A : NO
Q : How stable is it? A : Should be very stable but more testing is needed, hence the "test" version
Enjoy!Pack should be up in the usual place in a couple of hours. If you can't download 4.3 send me and email using Contact and i'll provide a solution.
Awesome, Rotten! Very nice changes, specially the performance boost, I appreciate it a lot! The torrent it's not up yet or I am searching wrong? Keep the great work!
It's not up yet, should be up in maximum 8 hours or so.
OOOhhh Yeahh MAN YOU DID YOUR MAGIC AGAIN. Cant wait to download it asap and begin it.
Currently syncing it to Mega.nz for people who can't download via KAT, after that it should be available soon on the regular place. Hopefully there will be no problems and this will be the last version of 4.x Work on V5 will probably begin once i fully upgrade my hardware somewhere in Autumn if everything goes well and i finish paying my current loan.
Hey RottenDub. This is really great. Now i can finally start a new game with your saves due to the addition of skyrim unbound. I'll be sure to post back if i encounter any issues. Thank you and take care and good luck with things.
''test version'' Im thinking, is it worth downloading?
I would say yea, test version in thrown in there just because i haven't tested it for a huge number of hours. Also working on some nifty HDT meshes content addon for armors (vanilla, tera and bless) for this version

Not really I'll set it up for 4.3 and all you have to do is copy the (HDT addon content)files and start up the game. This will be optional as not everyone like HDT meshes and not PC's are capable of running every NPC with HDT clothes ;)
Rotten, I do not understand why are you deleting my messages? Is there a post about 4.3 troubleshooting? SKSE folder in "overwrite" section on Mod Organizer
Because you should make an effort to document yourself about these things and apply logic instead of spamming 10 messages a minute and expect everything to be handed out to you on a silver plate, which you already have, there are limits to everything.

Hey RottenDub. I encountered a crash while using the second save. I kept casting the light ball spell that was equipped and i believe the light balls didn't disappear. The game eventually ctd'd. My specs are: GTX 780, i7 4770k, 16GB RAM. Skyrim is running on a virtual X partition on a 7200 RPM WD Black HDD.
I installed 4.2 pack then 4.3 update, it works. But the update cut many graphic mods, the environment especially towns became like vanilla. So, 4.3 is a permormance update only?

4.3 is an exactly what the first post in this thread describes update. If you want to add back Dawn of Skyrim or Beautiful Whiterun I don't think they require any compatibility files.

No longer getting two perk points per level and also Riverwood doesn't have a smelter.
Also while fighting outside Bleak Falls Barrow the game crashed and the error was like "a non-npc or humanoid tried to mount a horse but invalid skeletion animation prevented it" something.
The game is pretty smooth but more darker and gritty than 4.2 version?.

If you are a first time downloaded would you suggest 4.2 or 4.3. I realize the changes between the two performance and mod changes. Just curious on which would be the best to start when coming fresh into the mod.

Wow thumbs up!! This version I can load without any problem, 5 starsssss!!
Just can I change resolution? It keeps running at 1920*1080 no matter how I adjust it through prefsini or config.exe, or where should I change resolution in this version.
Also, is it possible I can modify depthoffield? I want to have something like fallout4 where you focus on things and background will be very blurry.

Thanks, the optional color I like it a lot, personally prefer more vibrant vibe. Just I still can't get DOF to work, or the effect is just too minimal? Could you upload a screenie demonstrating a properly working DOF effect? I'm still tweaking on SLI profile to see if I could get more performance.....seems hard though :/
Skyrim doesn't get along with SLI profiles.Press Left Shift+Enter and make sure DOF is activated. (If not activate >>>Save>>>Apply)
I am sorry if this is the stupidest question ever but is there a way to keep my 4.2 version and\or saves around so I can switch between them if I don't like this pack?
Also how to remove the files of the 4.2 pack so I can install this one without a complete re-installation of the whole game?
Thank you for working on these awesome packs and for the awesome support you and the other members provide

1.To keep 4.2 backup everything with 7zip. 2.Save games not recommended to jump between 4.2 and 4.3. 3.Reinstall is the safest way!

Config.exe doesn't matter, but are you just opening SkyrimPrefs.ini from within the folder? Try opening Mod Organizer, clicking on Tools in the top bar and then INI Editor. Change iSize H= and iSize W= to your resolution in there. And don't forget to set sD3DDevice= to the name of your video card.
now I'm meddling with grass, would love to have whole field of purely green grass so I googled a bit and downloaded these in orders : floral overhaul, Tamreil reload field grass edition, unique grasses and groundcovers , Green grass for ENB....
And I failed lol, or it's not a good idea to modify grass to your creation?
those mouth watery vibrant green grass QAQ~~

How can i make my game brighter? it's pretty dark from previous version really. It had Vivid weathers so i was using ultra brightness and it was ok but with 4.3 i can't play inside dungeons without disabling ENB.
Haven't played too much (3 hours), mostly waiting for the HDT addon.
But, it plays WAY better than 4.2 did in the short time I played. No crashes in the three hours, and a lot better FPS. On 4.2, I got crashes and corrupted saves a lot, and that was within 20 minutes of playing on 4.2

A workaround could be to use Mouse Buttons 3 & 4 to enable night vision. (Predator Vision Mod). I'm no expert with ENB, but i believe you could play Ambient Lighting in ENB within the game and tune it to your liking.

Did you follow the guide here for adding additional mods?
I have been getting these weird errors every now and then Also I got some memory full errors in the racemenu
Note: none of these happened to me on version 4.2 also I can't spare any space for a new partition so I used the INI edit posted in the guide as an alternative if this matters in anyway

Did you edit your .ini to reflect your graphics card VRAM?

The unique grasses and groundcovers i already in the pack a quick inspection of the load order could've told you that, number 8 in load order. Quickest way to have more grass density is to open the configurator and set the density to a lower number(like 20) Very dense grass can and will lower your FPS by a big number(can eat 30+ FPS) and can be the biggest performance hog on the pack that's why it's left at 70+ some other tweaks. I've already tried to get it at a balance between performance and quality but feel free to tweak it some more.
gastovski brightness is dynamic to reflect daytime/nighttime even in caves and interiors so it will be brighter during daytime and more dark during night hours. •Craft a wearable lantern, •Bring a torch, •use night eye/dark vision mod, •Spell Facelight can be also used to light surfaces right in front of you when playing in first person •Imaginator mod can be used to tweak brightness (not in the pack) •Or if you want install Vivid weather and tweak from there.

The enblocal.ini had the memory set to 23 gigabytes.... like who the hell has all that on his hands... anyway I set it to 4096 mb as I have a 4 gb graphics card and no longer experience those errors.
I hope I didn't mess anything up that way but in anyway thanks

.ini's are easy to back up so I'd suggest having one on hand or at least notate any changes you make. Fingers crossed!

It's explained in performance guide
•For people with 4GB VRAM or more run the VRamSizeDX9.exe and set this value in enblocal.ini VideoMemorySizeMb=????
•For people with 3GB of VRAM run VRamSizeDX11.exe and set this value in enblocal.ini VideoMemorySizeMb=????
*ENB host will use both your VRAM and your RAM and can lead to better performance
•For people with 2GB of VRAM or less VideoMemorySizeMb=2048

Had to same problem. Copied entire meshes folder to NifHealer/in folder then ran the fix. After couple of minutes five or six folders emerged in "NifHealer/out" folder, then i recopied meshes back to /Data folder, problem solved.
I've gotten loaded up into the game, from the save files you guys provide. However, when I load into the game, immediately I get a popup warning from Dual Sheathe Redux that says it does not have the proper patch data, please re run the SkyProc patcher or something and enable the esp.
ALSO, it seems I have a skeleton issue, as all the characters are just frozen in place with their arms kinda spread to their sides, zero animations or anything.
Whats curious is that in Mod Organizer, there definitely is a Dual Sheathe Redux patch .esp, so I'm really not sure whats going on. And yes, it is activated.
I searched around on the forums about this skeleton issue, and one post that is kind of old now said to rerun FNIS, however when I do try to rerun FNIS from within MO, it just spits me errors.
Help? I've never used FNIS precisely because it seemed like too much trouble, so I'm really not sure how to troubleshoot this.
And thanks in advance for this awesome compilation, it looks beautiful in game and seems to have tons of awesome content additions. Hopefully with some help from you wise people, I can get these small issues solved and be on my way!
Thanks for any help!
edit: This is what I see when I try to re-run FNIS through MO
Sounds like you need to run the patcher for dual sheaths. If you're lucky you'll see it in Mod Organizer where you can select a program to run. I have yet to install his pack so I'm not certain it'll be there. If not, Rotten's folder structure is a bit confusing but from what I gather looking at the contents of the zip, if you go to X:\Skyrim\MO MODS\Dual Sheath Redux Patcher\ there should lie the patcher. However, I'd tread carefully as he's dedicated a separate folder that apparently has his finished patch within and I'm not sure how that folder's incorporated without having the pack installed. I imagine running it shouldn't break your game, but on the small chance it would and you don't have a course of action to fix a mistake like that, you may want to wait for further instruction from Rotten. From what I gather, that'll be some time tomorrow morning/afternoon. Personally, I'd go ahead and run it. Good luck!

I try to run the DSR patcher, but it says that I'm missing masters for Watercolor_for_ENB_RWT_RND.esp, which are RealisticNeedsandDiseases.esp and RealisticWaterTwo.esp, BOTH of which MO recognizes, BOTH of which are checked and activated in both the left and right panel of MO. Which basically stumps me. Why it would give errors for missing masters that are installed AND active is beyond me, and something I've never personally seen in all my years of modding TES games. :/
You might find it easier to reinstall the pack following the installation to a T which are provided right here on the forums in the form of a sticky. You may have missed a step?

I've re read the steam install instructions a couple times.... only like 6 steps, I doubt I missed something. I am going to reinstall mainly just to check that nothing was corrupt by chance, other than that, I'm really at a loss.
