PostSubject: Long loading screen (infinite?)   Mon Oct 17, 2016 5:06 am

So i have installed the modpack, right in the place where it needs to be, and i have the feeling it works! (yay!)
but i have one last problem, when i clicked on continue (assuming it would continue the save game included with the download) it seemed to load infinitely.
So, i tried loading a new game, assuming this might at least get me in-game! But the same problem occurs, after 10 minutes of loading it still hasn't achieved anything!

Now i will admit, I, by accident, clicked on sort. This might've mixed up some of my mods although i cancled the action as fast as i could.
i compared to the installation guide and it does seem to be different. Or, maybe i should let it do it's first time loading this or something, i don't know anymore any help would be nice!
I will provide a picture of my mod organizer setup, set on priority.

Thanks in advance guys! I hope someone can help me, i'm super hyped to play now! :/

Hello!Yes you messed up the load-order!What pack version 4.3 or 4.4 you double threaded?(is that a word?☺)

1.Copy the folder "profile" from the pack to your Skyrim root folder.
2.Start the game!

Ah, yes i'm sorry about the double threading, i accedently put in in 4.3 before i realised, and yes i have version 4.4.
I tried the load order fix, and i must say it still is a loading screen that does not change after 10 minutes :(
But my HDD is rather slow, i do have an SSD should i put it on there?
Or is this problem related to something else?

PS: that would mean i would need to change my C:\ drive letter and i don't think this is smart though :/

No you just get the "profile" folder from my pack and extract it to X:\Skyrim , this will correct the load order.

Load times :

5200HDD - 40-60 sec
7200HDD - 35-50 sec
SSD         - 25-30 sec
m.2         - 15 sec

Yeah i tried that everything works as long as i load a save inside a tavern or house.
I also found an error once i tried going outside, or even just loading anything outside.
It says:

"Skyrim has failed to allocate memory! Possibly running out of memory. Size / alignment of object being allocated was 22369748 / 0. Some things you can try:
1. Make sure ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true is set in enblocal.ini - if you don't have ENB install ENBoost and enable this option.
2. Try set AlignHeapAllocate=0 in CrasgFixPlugin.ini - if you get additional crashed then put back to 1.
3. If it's during ShowRaceMenu then close the menu from time to time to free memory
4. Enable CustomMemoryBlock in CrashFixPlugin.ini to reduce memory fragmentation"

So i think it's safe to assume that it is a memory leak or shortage, I just felt like double checking first, is it worth doing these things? and will they maybe solve my problem? or is there some other fix or something?

Honestly, thank you in advance! i would not have found this problem without a good lead!

You load order should look like this : https://modwat.ch/u/RottenDub

That error means you messed or removed the proper ENB settings/removed ENB or ENB doesn't have enough RAM+VRAM to use.See guides for further details.

Okay, i've tried almost everything related to the ENB posts, guides, tutorials, i have no idea what to do anymore. the problem persists.
But i do realize that once i start the game, i do not get the normal 'to open your enb settings press SHIFT+ENTER' type of message, assuming my enb's are indeed messed up and my 'leak' or shortage is probably located there as i can still load up indoors.
Can i re-copy them? (they never worked from the start) or should i just install a fresh enb?
i don't know anymore :(

Oh i actually managed to get in game!!!
I recopied everything that had to do with the enb's now everything seems to work fine! (well except for some tweaking fps wise, but i'll work around that)

Thanks RottenDub!

Is this also where the installation guide for SPM 4.4 is gonna be uploaded? If so I feel stupid because I was checking http://pmdownloads.weebly.com/ for the guide ha.

PS: I didn't even know that you had a website for your modpacks other than the downloads page and this forum holy crap, lol. Love the way it looks.
