PostSubject: Struggling to maintain 60fps   Wed Dec 21, 2016 11:29 am

Hey, I recently installed Skyrim perfectly modded on my PC and I've done some tinkering (disabling some mods etc...) to try boost my performance, but I still seem to be struggling to maintain 60fps, I'm getting quite a few drops. the thing that confuses me about it is that I usually sit around 60% cpu and 70% gpu usage whilst not getting 60fps, and I've never been near 100% usage, any help would be great
Specs:
i5 4430 @3.0GHz (3.1GHz turbo)
8GB DDR3
GTX 970 MSI 4GB Gaming Edition
Windows 10 64bit
(No SSD)

Yes it seems you CPU might be a little outdated for the particular use of this pack.

ENB eats a lot of resources and uses an external .exe (ENBhost.exe) that runs beside your tesv.exe and all ENB no matter what the author says will eat a decent amount of frames. My CPU is a 6700k and it does use all the cores to a decent amount (haven't tested lately) and im getting 45-60 FPS but my GPU might be a bottleneck.

A good test of usage would be process lasso or CPUID HWMonitor

@tolstyy I believe i said this to you a few times now not everyone can afford the latest hardware for gaming etc.I will ask you one more time politely that you stop this.

Your Cpu is more than likely bottle-necking your graphics card as your GPU should be at 100% use at all times so having it at 70% really hurts your performance
