PostSubject: A question about symbolic links and extra magic mods   Thu Jun 15, 2017 7:38 pm

So after reading the install guide I thought it may be easier for me to make a much smaller partition for X:\ and just create a symbolic link for the skyrim folder inside. So X:\Skyrim will be a path that exists however, all the data will actually be on the main drive. How does this sound? Will it work just as well?

My other question is about extra magic mods such as midus magic. I want to add more spells to my game on top of perfectly modded skyrim. Does anyone know if this will cause conflicts or make my game unstable?

PostSubject: Update to symbolic link   Fri Jun 16, 2017 2:53 pm

Last night I created a very small partition (10mb) for the X:\ Drive. Then I just created a symbolic link to that drive using mklink and that allowed me to keep all the main files on a different drive and still have the modorganizer work normally.
