PostSubject: Development 2.0.6 V3 Beta 1   Tue Nov 03, 2015 3:11 am

Since so many of you asked me if i abandoned the project or when is V3 coming and so on.

Well I've got some news for you guys

•You want the good news? In about a week if everything runs smoothly in the tests,by the end of the month if i need to do more tweaks

•You want the really good news? I've managed to eliminate the stutter and micro-stuttering completely, no more lag or stutter when loading new portions of Skyrim.

Game now runs at 50-60 FPS on my old-ish PC with absolutely no stutter at all. It's been a pain in my ass for about 5 months now but i finally fixed it did i mention it was with ENB on?Imagine what you can do with better CPU and GPU.

•A crash/stress test will be done soon with FRAPS recording to add insult to the wound.Fraps adds a lot of strain on my old CPU.
(If you don't know what a stress/crash test is basically trying to force you game to crash by putting the game engine to a lot of stress and making it manage resources at 10x rate then it should.Add 600+ mods to the mix and it could be very possible, but not with this pack   )

•Some videos should follow soon.

•Other changes :

-Removed DSR for the time being.
-Removed WTF for the time being.
-Removed Bashed patch for the time being.
-Removed and replaced the HDT Systems with another one.
-Removed a small number of faulty or heavy scripted mods.
-Removed 3 bugged races from the rooster.

-Added more HDT hairs
-Added some more 2K textures
-Added some more texture fixes

Edit : 07.11.2015 13:08:01

-Fixed FPS dip when raining,it might even be better in rain than normal :affraid:
-Added Immersive Citizens removed check compatibly thread

Edit : 09.11.2015 03:50:05
-Rebuilt body type's for females to another one
-Fixed neck seam for vanilla and some custom races
-Rebuild HDT armors to match the new body type
-Fixed most pixelated lips in custom races (dark elf, wood elf etc) few still remain.

Edit 10.11.2015 13:38:44

-Added PerkusMaximus
-Added Asis (perk and spells only)
-Some texture fixes
-Added survival elements : food, drink, cold, wet etc
-Fixed dialogue lip-sync problem (80%)
-Completely removed stutter problem
-Fixed dark interiors + new lightning preset
-Changed font for whole interface
-Created 1 save-game mod configured save (you should configure mods to your liking)
-Added more mods
-Modified carry weight
-Fixed gray faces (90%)
-More alternative start options
-Added more customizable hud options.

That's the stress test :) you seen it before i could post it here :)) i fell asleep since the upload was raw to youtube and had 50GB :)).

But yeah fps stayed in 30-60 Range.Fraps kills my CPU usually eating 20 or 30 FPS plus there was the speed.
The hangs are not FPS related but engine related since it's designed to "pause" when loading massive new areas fast. The game didn't crash in the 20 minutes test.Managed to crash the game after 15 more minutes but with speed 4000(i think it's max but i could be wrong)

I'm really excited to have found this, great to see you're squeezing PerMa in! It's an amazing mod.

Can we expect to get an email alert when it's ready?

After further testing 10hours or more i see that all skyrproc patches (requires futher testing) can kill the FPS quite a bit.Even -25FPS in some areas so for now I've de-installed everything related to skyrpoc patches,so even people with weaker CPU's can enjoy the pack.

The good news is that if you have powerfull pc you can easily install most skyproc mods,i'll even do a guide and put the mods in a optional folder.

Tested and working mods that require skyrpoc patches : PerMa , DSR , WTF , ASIS.
You can even install them all at once using SUM.

A newsletter will be sent to everyone when the pack is up.

They run a lot of AI changes, the skyproc mods are probably very CPU intensive and that's why you're seeing the FPS loss.

Is it just an FPS hit or does it cause stuttering at all? I ran a very heavy load order with the skyproc patches included (minus WTF) and got about 40 FPS Whiterun with Open Cities installed, where the FPS was the lowest. I gave up on that mod list though because I could never fix the stuttering and stability. I'm running an overclocked i7 930, so it should be playable if you have a good CPU.

Thanks for including it as an optional, I'll let you know how it goes on my machine.

Another quick update :

Installed ASIS for the spells and perk module (No spawning and potions) and it seems that it doesn't mess up FPS.

Tested by spawning 20 necromancers vs 20 bandits (FPS before fight 60,fps during fight 30-35,no stutter)

I am now installing PerMa again and see if Perma+ASIS can maintain an intense fight. When the pack is released there will be no stutter whatsoever.

ASIS+PerMa test results : (Npc's correclty use new perks and spells)

10 VS 10 = silky smooth 50-60 FPS

20 VS 20 = OK 30-40 FPS

30 VS 30 = BAD 15-30 FPS

The spawn module in ASIS is the best thing about the mod, and (correct me if I'm wrong) I believe PerMa distributes spells and perks to NPCs in the same manner the ASIS modules do, and then does some things ASIS doesn't like adding scrolls for your 3rd party spells. The potions module isn't worth trouble, though.

IMO you might as well drop ASIS if you aren't using the spawn module.

If I'm not mistaken Perma add specific spells and perks to specific npc's while ASIS compiles a base of all used spell mods add give's them to more npc's so if there's no problem will keep both.

Looking over the PerMa page again looks like you're right, it looks like it adds abilities and perks specific to PerMa. Guess I got that impression from it creating scrolls, staves, and enchantments for NPCs from all your mods, but guess it doesn't add actual spells.

I'd still ask you to consider keeping the spawn module in though: it's 100% configurable (and disableable) from the MCM.

You can install ASIS again in 3-5 minutes with the touch of a button in MO because it's already configured. With skyproc If no modules are selected ASIS doesn't need to create more files so uses little resources.Keep in mind that this pack is for people with weaker hardware as well and spawn module can kill that CPU :)

Static mesh improvement mod - One of the first mods installed
Climates of tamriel - make everything with a tone of gray/dark that i can't stand (relighting skyrim does it better)
Interesting npcs - Was there from the start with other NPC mods
Summerset isle - Maybe next release

I'm creating save games with different aspects and different mod configs so everyone's play-style is covered. Then testing for about 5 hours and finally compressing and uploading.

No you don't need to register, depending on your area and setup it might take a while.Try to randomize ports and/or restart your pc.
