Everything working fine on this end.It might take some time until speed picks up if people are willing to give a little back.
It doesn't help that where i am staying now i get only 1/3 of the speed i used to get back home, but what can i do, i make do with what i have. check the little text for better download speed either on mega or on the downloads page i've added a little section with download to make it pop out more so people can get some of the packs faster.

Or just add these to your file properties

Btw is it perhaps save compatible from V4 to V5? just a small hope there ^_^

V4 to V5 jump is not possible mainly because LW2 needs a new game to function and the pack also contains a lot of LW2 addons, there also some other mods(quite a number of them) that require a new game.

But you can choose what class to promote your rookies with commanders choice.Glad you are enjoying the pack man, don't forget you have uniforms manager so you can save your cosmetic changes to any soldier and if you equip a better tier armor it will get changed and probably ruined but that's where this uniform manager comes in-handy you can re-apply your cosmetic changes (armors etc) with just 2 clicks.

I'll make a list of all the changes and features in V5 when i have more time on my hands.

I encountered a problem.

************SPOILERS**************

At the first mission of The Last Gift dlc when I put everyone inside the elevator, the game crashes. I played on ironman and whenever I try to load my save game it crashes with the messages shown in the attached pictures

I am seeding but noone is downloading it for now it looks like for me at least. Dunno why is that, I got it to unlimited, updated the trackers and all. All other torrents are working just fine though...

I'm assuming you started a new game yes?

It also happen to me with V4(never tried it with V5) but it seems this is a vanilla issue.

In my case it happened right before the top of the building when the game is loading the final section of the mission(roof)
To fixed i restarted the mission and i hard saved (manual save) right before i put the soldiers to ride the elevator to the roof and the crash went away.

If you can't save and you are on ironman you might be in a pickle.I'll try to do the mission as i think it's on my map today and get back at you.
If you aren't far in the game i would suggest you start a new game without iron-man and do a named save every month(suppy drop), maybe do a save before a mission and leave auto-save enabled.

EDIT : Can confirm noticed 2 crashes on that map/mission :

-One crash on the first floor at random
-One crash on the 2nd floor at random

*Loading the save-game (auto)seems OK as far as progression goes.
*Manager to fix that mission with 2 crashes.
*Just a little warning Julian has 100HP :)

I also found out that it is vanilla bug related. I saw somewhere that for other people disabling certain mods and reinstalling REDIT files fixed it. It could be random of course. I had to restart the whole campaign and this time without IRONMAN option. I assume that there are going to be other game bugs VANILLA related that will break saves. Better safe than sorry. Another bug I found is that sometimes after completing a mission when it tries to load the landing cutscene it freezes(you are still able to press ESC and see options etc, sound playes normally). Restarting the whole game and replaying the last round of the mission fixes it so far, though kinda annoying at times. Small price to pay for all the goodies though! ^_^

Yeah i also got some "under the avenger bug" but on very rare cases, i tried to "clean up" the whole mods folder and update all that is needed for LW2 and other stuff but some may have slipped away.

How are you finding the pack so far?Need some feedback! To easy or to hard that kind of stuff.
I will compile a list of all the changes that you can make to certain mods that i've tweaked and that can be made to everyone's taste but it will take a while.Also on what difficulty are you playing the pack?

I of course play on legend, it is great so far. There are some clipping issues with the Props of course (modders fault not yours).
I find it easy to be honest, mostly because I can throw in a lot of X-Com soldiers and basically destroy all alien patrols with ease since they are only 3-5 at a time. The default sword is overpowered while the other options seems to be more balanced. Basically you can make a team of LW Specops, shinobis or assault soldiers and destroy everything on the go with just 1 specialist just for the hacking options. If there was a way to increase alien numbers that would be great.

Add extra enemies to your missions
This’ll be a little more complicated, but still not too hard. Open DefaultMissions.ini and find ;ADVENT ENCOUNTER DEFS FOR All Missions. This file may not immediately make sense to you, but don’t worry—just focus on each text block that starts with ConfigurableEncounters. Each of these is a configuration for a different group or ‘pod’ of enemies that will then be placed onto any mission that requests it. To add more bad guys, simply increase the block’s MaxSpawnCount value to equal the number of enemies you desire, and repeat for each ConfigurableEncounters block until you’re happy.
For example, increasing the MaxSpawnCount of the ConfigurableEncounters=(EncounterID=”ADVx2_Standard”, \\ section will increase the number of enemies spawned everytime the ADVx2_Standard encounter is placed onto a mission. Once you’ve got your head around how this file works, you can adjust the numbers and types of enemies present on every mission in the game at your choosing.




XCOM 2\XComGame\Mods\LW_Overhaul\Config\XComMissions.ini


EDIT : haven't tested but this is how it should work : 


1Open mods folder and search for xcommissions.ini
2.Open one of the xcommissions.ini (should look like below)

3.Right click the one that you want to change and select "Open file location" and make a backup of XcomMissions.ini(repeat for each change you want to make)
4.Open XcomMissions.ini in that folder to modify spawn count.
5.Look for MaxSpawnCount and modify those values to desired.Notepad ++ could provide faster changes

6.Repeat this will all the files until happy  with alien count.


7.These setting might also need tweaking in C:\Users\Youruser\Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\Config\XComMissions.ini

Wow thank you! I will go into that as soon as possible!

One thing I noticed is that snipers got super nerfed making them unappealing compared to other classes(2-3 damage base O.O). Besides the Spec Medic, he/she gets to fire twice for 5 damage each time without crit, or move at shoot without penalties.

Also the hack gains are tremendous after each successful try, way more the +3 that pops up. I believe its more like +30 or something. I got one guy at 423 tech score within just a few missions. They also don't cost a turn so I could hack move and shoot at the same round.

The clipping of the props happens with female versions mostly, you need to match the number of the outfits otherwise you get shitty invisible spaces. It was kinda funny when I saw a rookie being like a ghost with just his upper body visible.

EDIT: So I did make the changes, and it had a very nice impact for me on the game. I changed all values of 2 to 4, 3 to 4, 4 to 5, 5 to 6, 6 to 7, 7 to 8 etc and it worked( think) without being too bad. No more spam flawless victories without a bit of luck ^_^

EDIT2: In certain maps I found that it can be really difficult on the engine and it takes a lot more to load each action because of all the calculations in play. Shame :/

EDIT3: SkipAI console command till you find your first group helps a lot in this kind of situations until you get to thin their numbers a bit.

Btw I found (another) game-breaking bug where in a UFO mission where Genji(?) appears to come as a soldier in your team the Distress beacon points on the ground outside of the UFO and I can't interact neither with the console nor near that point. Destroying it doesn't help either. I have killed every single enemy before the reinforcements. Any suggestions?

EDIT4: I just dealed with the reinforcements and it was ok, I even got flawless victory there...

EDIT5: Well one more bug for me here, it crashes and there is no way to continue. At the mission were you need to defend against the aliens till Firebrand arrives at the very last turn before the AI spawns it crashes hard. Any workarounds? Conserning the difficulty btw later on it becomes more and more interesting. It may look easy at first but give it time ;)

I've encountered this also, if i'm right it's an engine limitation, when the game tries to spawn a group of 10+ aliens at once (drop or teleport) it just bugs out this is related to LW2 and i think you needed to get out sooner. When you need to defend against aliens i think you also have to evacuate the civilians which are only marked in the first turn or so.I never got a crash on those kind of missions but you never know...more details would help me help you.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it! Unfortunately it is not in my power to leave sooner, it is in the mission where you need to defend against waves of aliens and it has a timer for when Firebrand arrives by default(as soon as you start the mission). You just need to protect the civilians till then and try to engage them so you can move them to the escape mark when the time comes. It is a real shame that the engine is so limited when it comes to numbers, it would be so great if you could add more enemies + bigger maps.

EDIT: I have found many more bugs I can list, I am not sure if you are able to do anything about them though. For example people with equiped pistols when goes in "overwatch all" it fires with Pistol instead of the main weapon. And if you have a damaged hacked mech or injured zombie from the necromancers they count as injured soldiers at the end of the mission thus missing the extra rewards. If a zombie from the necromancer class dies it counts as a dead soldier as well.

Haven't touched the pack in a long time.

Backup the current version of LW2 and back-up you save-games also, then give it a go.If you are far in the campaign i would suggest you finish it first tho`
