PostSubject: Question regarding performances   Mon May 22, 2017 12:24 pm

First question: my main problem is when i try to lower those stats i get an endless loading screen. the game runs without any problems at high res/2048*2048 but i wanted to lower them a bit anyway.

Quote :

◘Texture tweaking from MO.
•Open MO and click config it's the
•Set it to what values you think your PC can take

•After you're done just hit the apply button

◘General options for textures :
•Shadows res - 4096 for 4gb GPU
                   - 3072 for 3GB GPU
                   - 2048 for 2GB GPU
                   - 1024 or 512 for 1GB GPU
•Texture res   - Very High for 3GB and up GPU
                   - High for 2GB and up GPU
                   - Medium for 1GB GPU
•Water res      - 2048 and up for HighEnd PC's
*Water multi sample is possible also
                   - 1024 for most PC's

My second problem is that the game is way too dark. I already changed AmbientLightingIntensityInteriorDay and AmbientLightingIntensityInteriorNight in enbseries.ini and fGamma=1.2400 too. It helped somehow but yet i need to use a lantern inside buildings.

Any help will be welcomed.

Texture needs to be remaining at very high to avoid problems. All the setting are safe to lower.
It's probably safe to disable Dark Dungeons For ENB.

About textures i could lower them without any trouble - thanks

about Dark Dungeons i've disabled it from MO yet i dont see any difference.

in The Ragged Flagon (thief guild) for example i cannot see people's face unless i get very close with lantern. It might be unrealistic but if anything else can be done to get a bit lighter i'd appreciate.

You can install wearable lanterns and craft one and set the brightness for them higher.

i have to wait daytime or go really close to see something. Is there a way to disable those mods at all?

I'll take a look at the 4.4 modlist tomorrow and see if anything can be done ;)

Un-install all weather and lighting mods and grab Snowfall ENB.

Check install instructions properly.

Snowfall Weathers

IF you want better FPS = GPU
IF you want faster loading times = SSD / m.2 drive
IF you want better FPS with lots of NPC on screen = CPU
